Kafta & Potatoes
Kafta & potatoes it’s a very appetizing dish easy to make. Kafta is Ground beef mixed with herbs and spices. It is cooked around the World with a mix of different ingredients, shapes, and sizes. Kafta or meatballs is Loved and cooked around the world. It is one of the most favorite, and most popular a dish that is made in every single country in the world from the Middle East, Asia, Europe, North, and South America. It is loved by all young and old.
Ingredients ground beef:
- 2 lbs Ground beef
- 2 cups Green onions
- 2 cups Cilantros
- 1 cup Parsley
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 jalapeño pepper
- 1 tablespoon Ginger
- 1 egg
- 1 cup oatmeal
- Salt as preferred
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Cumin
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 Tablespoon Sumac
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
Ingredients for the potatoes:
- 4 Medium-sized Peeled and cut into 1/2 inch circles.
- Salt as preferred
- 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
- 1/2 Tablespoon Cumin
- 1/2 Tablespoon coriander powder
- 1/2 Tablespoon Sumac
- 1/2 tablespoon curry powder
Ingredients for garnish:
- 1 small green pepper cut into slices
- 1 small Tomato cut into slices
Instructions Ground beef mix:
In a food processor with the blade place the green onions, Cilantros, parsley, garlic, jalapeño pepper, and Ginger Chop fine for about two minutes.
In a large bowl add your mixed Ingredients from the food processor then add your ground beef.
Add the spices Salt, black pepper, cumin, coriander, Sumac, and Curry powder.
Add The egg and the oatmeal mix well with your hands.
Instructions for the potatoes:
Peel the potatoes and wash, cut 1/2 inch Round circles. Place them in a bowl then add salt, Black pepper, Cumin, coriander powder, so mug, and curry powder. Mix well
Putting all the ingredients together:
In a baking dish add olive oil
then organize the potatoes in the baking dish
Add The ground beef over the potatoes
Bake in the heated oven at 400° for about 35 to 40 minutes.
